Does anyone know where i can get a decent interactive computer based training package for the J2 Sun cert exam ??? Free if possible would be nice to :-)

i don't think you'll find any of them for free anywhere.

this site has practice exams http://suned.sun.com/US/certification/java/java_progj2se.html and prices about $100-150 which is normal for most certification for most comptuer based stuff..

Without spending an arm and a leg. I would just pick up a book from your local book dealer that comes bundled with java software. Just check the book that you wish to purchase to see if there is an abundance of negative reader comments. I purchased this book http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=55F9P2JNTV&isbn=1562059505&itm=9 years ago and was thoroughly dissatisfied. The java software wasn't half bad but the book wasnt worth the paper it was printed on.
