Tapping!!!!
AAARGGG! Evil Laptop 'Tapping'
For those lucky enough to not know what tapping is, its that annoying option on Laptop touchpads that reads when u tap them as a click, especially when u don't want it to.
I got a new laptop, cool, i set up XP home, cool, i use the touchpad and IMMEDIATELY turn off tapping, which was good.
However, i then bought an optical mouse, attached it to the laptop, and BAM, whenever i use the mouse, tapping is again enabled.
What i wanted to know was, why does tapping come back on when i plug the mouse in, and is there any way to turn it off. U see, with no mouse, the computer says my 'mouse input' is the touchpad, and i can disable tapping. However, when i plug it in, i can no longer access the touchpad settings.
Any ideas?
