IDE And/Or Motherboard Brand and Model
I need to find out what my IDE controller and/or Motherboard Brand and model is because I forgot/didn't know to install my IDE drivers and the disk that came with my computer has multiple drivers and I don't know which one is mine. I not very good with hardware stuff so can you make it easy for me to understand if it's hard. Hope you know what I'm talking about.
Thanks in advance.

Depends which OS you are using...
If you use Win2k / XP...
START>>PROGRAMS>>ACCESSORIES>>SYSTEM TOOLS>>SYSTEM INFORMATION
That should show you the motherboard manufactures name and motherboard revision. If it says GBT__, its Gigabyte.
Let us know how you get on.
Regards,
Paul.
