Microsoft Visual C++ 6 and line numbers
I can't seem to a way to turn on line number in MSC++ 6. It would really make it easier when I'm debuggin my programs. I did a forum search and couldn't find anything. Any help is appreciated.

I uninstalled VC++6, so I can't look it up, but somewhere in Tools->Options there was a checkbox for that.
And the line number of the line you're in is displayed in the status bar, and there is a "Go to line" command.

Nope, I've checked through every preference/option dialog several times, can't find a thing on line numbers. Very strange considering they come standard with all the other IDEs I've seen...

In C++.Net you can use Edit->Go to or Ctrl+G to jump to any line, I'm quite sure this works in 6 too.
And the option to switch on line numbers is Tools->Options->Text Editor->C/C++ (or whatever language)->General->Line numbers
Again I'm quite sure a similar option existed in 6.

Nope, I can't find it anywhere. It totally amazes me that they didn't include line numbers (visible in the left margin) with VC++ 6. The options dialog in Visual C++ 6 is very limited. I've seen the options box in VS.net and it's far more extensive.
