I was wondering if were possible to get the voltage of the phone line to tell if it were in use or not:
Normal: 20v ac
Phone Ringing: 48v AC
Phone Answered: 10v AC
What i want to do is have my computer call my other computer at work and send some data but i have an alarm system and if the computer started dialing when the alarm system was calling the Alarm company or i am using the phone it would get anoying. is this possible?
