hi everyone,
I'm a six quarter student at heald college, and I need to get this VB program working in order to graduate. It's a simple hang man game for two players, with a point scoring system. There are no use of graphics are anything hard (i believe). I got the game layout all done on a single form, all there needs to be done is coding.
If someone is kind enough to do this for me, I will be very greatful. And as a way of saying thanks, I will give $100 to the coder. If you're interested, let me know. Or if you just want to see the main form for an idea, email me. Thanks for the time.

is it just me or does this look like he is trying to pay people off to pass a class which he paid no attention in , and has no programming skill whatsoever, to make a simple hangman program. I dont know about everyone else, but I as a programmer would not do this for you even if you paid me 100,000 dollars because its cheating, and most programmers i know won't stand for stuff like this. Now if you just need help revising your code that is different, revising is ok, but you need to learn how to re word sentences if that is the case cuz it looked to me like you would pay someone to finish a project you are too lazy to complete just so you dont have to do it.

whoa,
slow down, chill out man. sorry to have stepped on your toe. What's with all the name calling. Last i know, this was the project request section.
About me being a lazy ass. No, I'm not a lazy ass. I just don't enjoy Visual Basic as much as you do, sorry if that offends you, not everyone's into programming.
I went to Heald College to get a Computer tech degree, not programming skills. I was forced to take one quarter of VB, and write a program in which I was not skilled at. The teacher was a sorry a$$.
Again, i apologize if I offended you. Haven't you ever needed help in something you're not good at? Chill out.

there is a difference, help is when you are working on something and get stuck and need help on code or something the way you worded it you were paying $100 to anyone who would do the work for you.. If you want help i will give you a hand as much as anyone else but if you want to WRITE THE CODE FOR You you can forget it , especially for money that is not HELP that is CHEATING!!

hey oOBlackOrbOo, I just got home from school. 10:45 pm
Looks like we got off the wrong foot here. I do know the difference between lending a hand and doing all the work. If you want to say I'm paying someone off, then that's fine, I never argued that. But I really do need "help" to write this program. Before I posted here, I made sure I did not break any rules. I searched through the forums, and there were several other posts requesting a programmer and willing to pay. I even made sure I was in the right board, "project requests". I did not see the mods closing out any of those posts, or you swearing them out. For some particular reason, you chose to isolate me and chew me out. I think you're a nice guy, just misunderstood me. All you had to say was you can't post something like that, and I'll delete it.
I work full time, do school full time and have a family to take care of. I just don't have the time to go through enough of VB to write the program. It's not exactly plug and play.
I don't know of many people who would write an entire program for free, at least not for a stranger. That's why I offered the cash incentive. If there is someone that nice, I still would give the money as a way of saying thanks. Long read, sorry.

Hey luvpkl, i understand your problem and i agree with you thinking that blackorb is wrong for going off on you... after hearing your story i think its pretty fair and a great deal to offer people 100 dollars to make a hangman game, i suggest looking it up on www.planet-source-code.com since that has seemingly infinite examples and plenty of hangman ones. I'm sure that would be the first spot your teacher would check so if you don't want to do that or would rather someone do it, i could do the coding part. And 100 bucks is a bit too high... i'll do it for 20 if you still need it.

hey oOBlackOrbOo, there's no need for apologies. I never had any hard feelings towards you. I've been to some other forums where posts like mine were unacceptable, and I respect that. Just as I respect you for what you believe in. I'm just glad everything got staighten out, and we can put all this behind us. Like the saying goes, "it's always better to make a friend than to meet an enemy".
Wat, thanks for hearing me out. I'll definitely check out the link you just gave. It would be great though if you could write the code for me. Even though there are many samples to learn from at planet sorce code, it would still take a great deal of time for me to write. Simply because the hang man program I need has a custom layout and gameplay mechanics (2 players). I will email you the main form layout, if you can still help, let me know. As for the money thing, don't worry about it. While I'm no bill gates, please accept the $100 as of my way of repaying your generosity. Again, many thanks to you. I gotta be off to school now.
