RedHat Linux installation Question
I'm trying to install RedHat Linux 6 on my secondary PC (PII 300MHZ MMX). I have a few questions about it:
Right now Windows 2000 Pro occupies the 4 gig hard drive in that computer. There's also a 340 MB hard drive in there. Can I dual boot Win2k and RedHat on the same 4 gig hard drive, or will Linux fit on the 340 MB disk?
Perhaps more urgent is the fact that I can't get it to install. I pop in the CD, and the boot loader attempts to start the installation. After displaying something about a 1.44 MB floppy (which isn't installed ) it says 'boot failed'. Sometimes it goes to the next line 'SYSLINUX ...' and then fails. Any idea why this is happening.
Thanks in advance!
