ok heres my situation... ive been having d3d problems on an intel 810 video card and windows xp... so i went into the bios to modify settings and saved and exited... now i have my pc with a power on pw.. so i went to go type it in and it didnt work.. eventually i decided to open the case and reset the bios.. so i did.. and now it doesnt boot at all.. in order to get it to boot i need to remove the jumper that is the jumper to reset the bios (when the jumper is on... the bios isnt being reset) and then it boots... and so ill go and try to put it back on when im in the bios so ic an save the default settings just to get it to boot... and when i reset the system just sits there until i remove the jumper again.. so no settings are being saved... my idea is that the bios is corrupt... and im looking for a flash for a phoenix bios.. i went to their site and they want me to pay money to get it.. if theres a way to get the bios to work w/o flashing it that would be nice... but i dont think there is.. so i was wondering if any of u knew of ne sites i could go to where you can just download the flash and run it..
