    Vb.NET WON'T DO ANYTHING

    Hi,

I've used VS.NET Acc on Windows 2000 Pro, never had a problem on it. Then I was forced to move to Windows XP Pro. This is when triuble started.

When I click the add-ref button nothing happens! Some things its just by luck that it works!

Please, I've clearned my hdd 4 times!

    Can you help me?

VS.NET Acc = Visual Studio .NET Accademic Edition (pro with student tools)

Maybe you should try the dull and boring reinstall.

Did you upgrade to XP Pro or clean install? If so did you have to reinstall VS.NET after the change to XP PRO?

I'm using XP Pro and I don't have any problems, perhaps a clean install, like Edneeis said might do the trick.

Hey I had a problem when I installed Visual Studio.NET there was a 60 day trail and it installed fine and everything but when I opened it it would somtimes work other times i had no backspace button. Only way I fixed it was by installing the full version. I know that you have done that but just to let you know your not the only that has had a problem on xp pro
