    CrystalReport

Is there a reason why I get the logon error message when trying to run a crystal report?
I have placed the required fields correctly from the DB on to the page

    Question

What version of Crystal Reports are you using? The one included in Visual Studio .NET?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm just starting to evaluate Crystal and getting the same error.

    Their documentation is incredibly worthless...

When I use this approach, I always do a manual Log On on the report to the DB server before viewing or printing the report. Or you can use datasets in populating your reports.
