Guru Nominations

Thank you all for the nominations and discussions about gurus here. While I'm sure that you all have suggestions about who would make good gurus, I think that it would be best to let us decide who should be given the title. We had been considering Kedaman and Megatron for guru status long before those recommendation threads had begun, so it was more conincidence for the timing. We also try to chat with the existing gurus to assess whether someone is applicable for guru status.

We also will not be awarding special 'anti-guru' or other indiviual titles. This site exists as a resource for VB programmers, and I think that it is important not to lose this focus. If we go giving one person their own title, then everyone will want one - and we don't have time for that.

Just remember that it is just a title. If you have a statement to make, why not make it in your signature?

Point taken John will delete the thread. But didn't you at least get a smile out of it:):):)Ok off to delete the thread, and the one about Bill and Ben, and the one about Gen-X. Then off to General vb section to cause more mayhem...sorry l mean help out where l can:):):)
