    Email by ASP, under Win 98

    I am running PWS under Windows 98 at home. I have written some ASP code to create and send email, using CDONTS. The code works on our Win 2000 server at the office, running IIS, but not on my home PC. I get an error creating the Cdonts.NewMail object because PWS does not contain any SMTP components (such as CDONTS), and IIS will not install on Win 98 anyway.

    How can I Is there anything I can do or add to my PWS to get this to work?

    No, you can't do it with PWS. The SMTP service has to be on the system. And I think it's not possible even if you install Win 2000 Pro with IIS with SMTP service. CDONTS will not send anything from your system outside.
