    Question

Im kinda stuck, we have a program that simply tests communication between a clients machine and our web server however I have gone out on site to a client that uses a Microsoft Proxy Server and the program wont connect.

I have set the Default connection to ICNamedProxy, I've entered the address correctly and the username and password to gain access to the proxy services however when the program runs it still returns a need Proxy Authorisation page from the proxy server most of the time the rest I get a message back saying Response Recieved the program then seems to sit in a stillexecuting state and hangs their.

If anyone has any experience using this control through a proxy server please gimme a shout with some things to try.

FYI : MS proxy client has been installed on the machine I'm running the program from.

    Thanx

Hmm...sounds like it could be a problem with the way the proxy was setup and wont allow certain connections. I would recheck the way that the proxy is setup. If that doesn't return anything then how about trying another control...something like winsock...
