Hello everyone,
I have just recently started playing Unreal Tournament & Quake 3 Arena on the net, fantastic fun. :D Any way i was looking to join a clan on the net, but you probably know how they all are. "Only mail me if you're any good.", "mail me for a trial", etc etc etc.
So i had a brilliant idea. Why not start up our own clan. Ideally it will be a UK based clan, but that is not a necessity, though it is easier to keep in contact if you are on the same time-zone.
You don't have to be very good either. Trust me, i am far from the best UT player out there. My average life expectancy is about the time it takes to fire off one round. :( But hey, everyone has to start somewhere. :)
As i said i am quite new to this clan lark. I don't really know how you go about organising things, so any advice or help is greatly appreciated. I assume a web site is pretty much standard issue. And i know you can register your clan at Clan Links (http://www.clanlinks.com/), but other than that i am pretty much clueless.
Well if my insane ravings haven't put you off, and you are actually interested, or if you can give me any advice, please post a reply.
