    avi files

    I need to know how to play avi files. I got wmp series 9, but it can never find the right codec. i downloaded it off kazaa

    Get a FOURCC checker from here:
    http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avifourcc.html

    Only use it to view the fourcc code, not change it. Once you have this 4-letter code, go here:
    http://www.fourcc.org/

    Go to 'Codecs'. Search for the 4-letter code you saw, and read the info.
