Possible virus, pretty interesting

I have had this thing on my computer for quite some time now, and I want it to stop. The problem is this: I can't change my home page. The box in internet options is greyed out, and when i try to change it with javascript, it tells me "Access Denied", or something to that extent. Any ideas?
