Still automating a database

This question is still related to how to automate an access database when trying to import text files. I've got the importing part down and how it happens, but one thing I'm still having trouble with the formats of my text file. I already have the database set up and all formats are set, so I need to find a way to set the formats of the data thats being imported. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Maybe you can elaborate a little on the actual data you have and what you want to achieve. Perhaps post some example text data and an idea of what field structure you have created in the database.
