cannot create proper web forms
I have already posted this question in another forum but I am worried and thought that maybe somebody on this forum may also know the answer.
Just installed Visual Studio.net on Windows 2000 Pro.
Installed also Framework service pack 2
Missed installing IIS and installed it afterwords. Followed all methods for repair, including running the
g:\dotNetFramework\dotnetfx.exe /t:c:\temp /c:"msiexec.exe /fvecms c:\temp\netfx.msi" from dos prompt and otherwise.
I am trying to create (with the help of Karl's Moore tutorials) an ASP application. On running I am having the error "Error when trying to run project. Unable to start debugging with web server etc.......". Tried to run the program without debuging but Internet explorer is not showing any controls, it shows only the text of the controls in an unformated form.
I already followed the help that is offered from the error but cannot rectify. I also re-installed both Visual Studio and Service Pack 2 of the framework.
Any help to fix this problem is much appreciated
Thanks Tony
