I just got this really old PC, I found an old ISA card in my house and installed it. The PC works fine on the network. I can read/write files from the PC's on the network, but as soon as it tries to go online, it crashes, illegal error. If I try to go on AIM, AOL, IE, IRC, or lets say winAmp open URL. ANYTHING would crash if it tries to access the net. I dont know if its the ISA card as It works on LAN. what else could cause this?

Do you have your TCP/IP settings correct ?
ie. IP Address of the default gateway = ip address of router etc.

yeah, I think so, the router should handle all that by itself, the internal IP is 192.168.1.101, which seems to be right, mine is 102, the other pc is 100, and subnet mask is I think 255 255 255 0, but I dont think 192.168.1.1 works if I try to go to it, to update router or modify settings.

Linksys BSF41 is 192.168.1.1, It works with my other PC's, If I try .0.1, it just says not responding.
