    Recurring error with Icons

    Sometimes, randomly, certain file types will switch icons. For example, my ZIP files will have TXT icons. I'm running Windows 98 and have a 3 year old 8 gig hard drive. When i refresh the screen, it does not go away. HOW CAN I FIX THIS? its driving me mad

    windows 98 is prone to that for some reason

    there is a program called tweakui that allows you to flush the icon cache or something or other.
