    Sequence of numbers

Can anyone find a pattern in the following sequence?
    24, 28, 2, 16, 20, 4, 8
Make it reasonable: don't find something obscure like the seventh-degree polynomial for it.
    Have fun!

    div by 2

    12,14,1,8,10,2,4,

    next is probably 6,then 3

    so 12 then 6

    Did you know that...
The probability that a random rational number has an even denominator is 1/3 (Salamin and Gosper 1972)? This result is independently verified by me (2002)!

Sorry, there's no sense in that!

There's no pattern of (/2) in your example nor in his question >_<

sorry the pattern make sense to me. after div 2, it goes 12 then 14, then 1. then its 8 and 10. notice 8,10,12,14. after 1 its 2. they give you the first time 4 again, which makes sense because you know have 4,6,8,10,12,14. so 6 is after 4, and 3 is after 2.

yes, i saw the pattern after i divide each number by 2. it was tempting. its just like 2,4,6,8,10, whats the next number? after div 2, you see 1,2,3,4,5 so next obvious number was 6. multiply by 2 to get 12
