    Question VS.NET installation error?

I installed VS.NET successfully (it said that ). When I created a new project or a solution, it was ok. However, whenever I create a project containing an object such as Windows form, class and ActiveX , a error message popped saying "Automation can't create objects" (Microsoft Development Environment).
The another strange thing was when I open a sample of VS.NET which had forms already, it worked properly.

What'd happen? I still use Visual Studio 6.0 well. Help me please....
Thanks for reading and helping in advance...

    Install Bad

I had the same problem. You must disable virus scan when you are installing .NET otherwise you get that error whenever you try to use a control or create a new object. Good Luck.

    Unhappy That's not the solution...

Disabling Auto-Protect of Norton Antivirus didn't help me to install VS.NET succesfully. It seemd to be that some files were missed in the disk. Maybe I should try to use another disk.
    About using Scripten, I haven't tried .
