But Does anyone know how to play an MP3 in VB6 with APi or know of a good OCX
VFMp3Player.ocx just doesn't cut it anymore

I'm not sure about this but try the OCX's from Windows Media Player or RealPlayer.

Search in the development section of http://www.softseek.com There are some good controls around (which don't rely on installed stuff). Yeah you can use the mediaplayer but it only works with the latest versions.

Think you could put together a project for vb-world that can play a buncha media files, depending on file extension? Would be much gooder than using the evil Windows Media Player OCX. :)
