(IE) Great now VBF is locking my browser...
I've posted this before (http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...hreadid=209198) but the problem is still unresolved... if I turn off activex in IE then it is a lttle better but not much... either the window dissapears or lockes up.
any ideas?

I'm not trying to sell you on nothing here (most people seem to get pissed off when it comes to browsers ), but maybe you would like to try another browser, like Mozilla or Phoenix? Or the new Opera beta? I found IE had bugs, that's why I switched.

You said before about how the flash sites were causing you probs. I noticed that at least one of those new ads are made with flash.

Just don't format then. Reinstall into a new folder.

I could do that easily in win98 but w/NT how would I go about it... I guess when it asks where to install just put a different name?
Maybe I should boot w/a win98 boot disk and ren windows to win.old via dos.
I'm just not looking forward to it at all... too much crap to reinstall... I wish there was a better answer... like deleting ie and reinstalling (or maybe IE and office).

You can't do that with NT (NTFS cannot be read by DOS).
