I thought selling an OEM would be illegal, since it says right on the CD "Not for retail / re-sale", yet that seems to be all people have on eBay for Norton AV. :confused:

Yeah I think so. Although I think if you remove the app from your HDD it may not be, but I'm not sure.

Man...if it's illegal, I'd rather just download it off KaZaa or something.
If I'm going to have illegal software, I'd rather have it for free, you know? But that's what I'm trying to get away from here.

but you can buy things separately, even if theyre oem. like a cpu for example....

I think those are like Original Edition of Manufacturer, meaning that there haven't been any seller tweaks (you know how if you get a PNY GF3 it will be different than a Creative one).
