    Question Irony...?

Doesn't anyone think it's a little bit ironic that VBForums uses PHP serverside scripting...?

I think he means why doesn't it use VBScript.
We don't know what's wrong. . . So the best bet might be to remove something surgically.

    Well ...

    He probably means ASP.Net

I think VB World has moved to ASP.Net already (probably thanks to Karl the Great )

And I think since VB Forums uses vBulletin which is a ready-made software for bulletin boards, there's precious little that can be done about the use of PHP. You would be without all these cool features for a year or two if Karl decided to develop a similar package in ASP.Net!

Because it's the best tool for the job, and that's what John used when he originally developed it.

I can't wait until Netscape supports the .html extension.

.html was the extension right at the start. The whole .htm thing was because of DOS's inanity.

    LOL...

Yeah okay, I guess that it is vBulletin, which uses PHP. I was just a little surprised that, excluding the obviousness of the forum system, the site didn't utilise its preached serverside language.

And that doesn't mean VBScript on the clientside, ya daft - but funny - fools...
