John, it is currently 7:55 AM. I posted something around 6:50 AM and it said 6:50 PM. Anything wrong with that?

All times are ET (US). Are you in this area?

The time and date seems to have jumped 12 hours. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone in the US (Michigan).
It is now June 30, 2000 and 6:11 PM.
I'll bet the time and date of this post shows July 1, 2000 at about 6:11 AM.

All times are ET (US) +7 hours
But it should show 2:27 AM right now, odd
Where did the +7 hours come from? It says right in the bottom-left corner that all times are ET(US).

IF youre not from US, you can adjust the time by setting time offset in your profiles:
Time offset:
All times on the server are ET (US). Enter the number of hours that you are offset from this timezone, and all the times on the board will be altered to fit your timezone.
I live in New Jersey, EST USA, same as New York time. And now it's about 1:15 AM and it says:
The time now is 07:07 AM.
Did you say +7...oh :P.
Well..not: 7-1=6 so its +6.
Help me, I think I'm  confused :p.

why is this thread so long? it's about TIME for god sakes! catocom! you posted your time twice. that's called useless posting. but since you're new, I wont give you a screen full so please go back and delete them. Ask mentioned in the a couple threads back, we are trying to give people good status by posting great code not by posting usless things.

I think that the server got a bit confused of the time recently when it was rebooted. It should not be a problem any more.
