can i create a crystal report in run time ?

can i create a crystal report using code only ? i want to create it dynamically.

i am using crystal reports 7 and vb6
and if not, is it possible in crystal reports 8.5? or 9?

I assume you mean without a .rpt file. The answer is yes, but I think it's only available in the 'Developer Edition' of Crystal.

These runtime report creation features may only be used and distributed if the appropriate licensing is obtained by paying the required royalty fees.
