Super Winball - new vb game
Hi!
I've just finished my newest piece of software, a game called Super Winball.
Super Winball 1.0
It is kind of a 3D-pong game, the goal is to make the ball go pass your opponent's (computer's) paddle. It is "3D" because the POV is 1st person (or 1st paddle, hehe).
Read the manual (in the game, Help -> View manual) before playing. The game is quite simple, so it's easy to learn.
The reason why this kind of game: I've been missing a game that I can play a minute or two if I have to wait for something a while... most games require at least 10 minutes to play, more if you wan't to make progress in them.
Comments appreciated.

Pretty neat! Took me a few seconds to figure out what everything represented because if the player doesn't move the paddle, the ball never leaves the centre of the court...
Interesting idea too! Btw I totally agree with your idea about making a quick game!

Thanks for your comments.
BTW: if you put on HardCPU, the ball WILL leave the centre...

I had the same problem understanding how to get the ball from the center of the court, but once I understood how, I liked it very much. Nice one..

Just added this to the manual:
If you don't have HardCPU on and you do nothing, the ball
won't leave the center of the game field. Just a hint for
the new players who wonder wth is going on :P
Hope people read it
Any opinions about music, playability etc... ?

Good Ol' Platypus
Your engine is good, but the flickering could easily be fixed, I think.
The game is awesome, BTW.

(Just a heads-up)

Woa, very fun.
I noticed you used modules for music, Cool! I didnt think anyone else still used them besides me...
Where do you get your tracks from? I usually end up writng my own, which suck.... I can never find some good non-copyrighted ones, or ones where the author allows them to be used in publically distributed games.
