    thanks, guys.

but. like if i have an MS-Windows NT or 2000 system, will i be able to know which DOS version I am using?

i could be wrong but when i type ver command at the prompt, it only shows me the Windows system version not the DOS version...

    good day !

    thank you.

in windows 2000, it shows the 'dos version' enclosed in square brackets.

but in windows nt version 4.0, i think it does not reveal the dos version.

NT or 2000 does not have DOS, just an emulator. cmd.exe has nothing to do with DOS, it's a full Win32 App.

I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
