HKEY_DYN_DATA is a virtual hive, and is stored in memory. HKEY_USERS is another virtual hive, where all the users are subkeys off it. The current user is linked into HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
Other hives are stored, as DE said, in system.dat, and HKEY_CURRENT_USER is in your own user.dat file.
