which winsock are you talking about, the microsoft one or the netmanage winsock control?

in general the microsoft winsock control 6.0 is called mswinsck.ocx (I think), and the netmanage one is usually just winsock.ocx. the Mirosoft one is used for chat clients, connecting to servers and various other function. The netmanage probably could too but what I've seen of it, it is mainly used for tcp and udp port flooding, and ip spoofing.

if its the microsoft one you are after you can find it all over the place but it needs a license for it work, which comes with vb5 pro edition vb5 enterprise edtion, and vb6 pro edition and vb6 enterprise edition.

but there is a patch for it (i dont know if it works, I have a legit copy of vb6 ee so I have use of the ms winsock)
but the patch can be found at planet-source-code.com do a search for winsock patch.

as for the netmanage control, sorry I don't have a clue where you can get it, I used to have it but haven't bothered to get it since, and if I did find out I probably wouldn't say lol there are too many offensive programs out there already.
