What's a good text editor?

I need to find a good text editor. I just want something with a replace feature, and that allows multiple documents.

I don't want something that's got way too many features. Just something to write a few text files in.

Word is too much. Notepad is too little. Any suggestions?

I used this app called NoteTab back in the day. Look it up on Google.

If you can't find it anymore, I can send it to you (the free version of course, I don't have the paid version)

Yeah, I at first thought you wanted a word processor with those features but then I saw text editor.

TextPad... extremely versatile, and you can download syntax plugins (VRML, PHP, ASP, PLSQL, VB, etc. syntax highlighting) and reference 'clipbooks' (they have function prototypes, such as 'Server.Execute "Path/To/File.Asp"'). IMO the best multi-language editor.

But since you don't want too many othwer features, it may not be right for you. However, it doesn't have multiple fonts (it acts like notepad does).
