1 installed the .NET Framework
2 installed the application
3 try to run the application and get the following error

Now, this procedure on any other OS works fine, but on Terminal server it seems to be a nono.

anyone ever run a .net application on a terminal server ?

Hi there Edneeis,
the problem was me not understanding that ADO.NET dep on MDAC :eek:

on the TS MDAC was not installed... on the other computers that the app was installed, it was present thus working just fine.

When the app did not work on TS I was sure that this had to do with the fact that this was terminal server...

so I was jumping coclusions and ran off to get help on vbf :)
