this is probably a really dumb question. but i have a form with a menu and it provides a bunch of calculations to a datagrid on the form. before, i opened it byitself, and it was quite fast. then, i decided to make it a mdichild form of a main form. and since, i did so, my program has dramatically slowed down. is this normal? or did i do something wrong??
