Can't run .exe files even after installing service pack-1

Hi,


They say that after installing the service pack-1 (xp) there should be no problem to run programs made in VB.net.
But each time i try to run such a program i get a error message and the the the program does not run.

Who can help me ?

What's the error message?

I got a Dutch version of XP-Pro so the error message is in dutch.
when i translate it it would look like this:

Cannot initiate (0xc0000135)

That's all i get :(

It could be a problem with the version of WindowsXP but this article is the only thing Microsoft has on that specific error code.
