I'm developing a math research paper on artificial intelligence. I am a pre-pre-calc student (yes... pre-pre) and because i am in an honors course, the school requires me to do a research paper. Last year i did on cryptology and i explained the history of ai and some of the mathematics of it as well as created a simple encrypting and decrypting function.
Any ideas of what i should put into my math research paper on ai for a mathematics student at my level? I would like to be able to create some elementary ai in vb and use that in my research paper.
Any ideas would be much appreciated

You could create a tic-tac-toe game. Where the set it to use moves. Then tell the computer what happens, and have it set to learn from what you 'tell' it.

hmm... need more of a math research paper. Need to explain more of the mathematical theories and stuff like that behind ai.

I could help you. :D
What you looking for of AI? or just behind the scenes?

more behind the scenes. I pretty much just need to write about a lil history of it and what mathematical concepts are used in it and examples of this.
But i want to learn how ai is developed and the concepts behind it... more of the programming concepts behind it. Not too advanced though :)

AI is right down to the 1's and 0's
You can make a simple calculator using these 2 things.
Everything dealing with AI is that it is bi-comprehentional.
There's a [[ Nonvisual/Input/(0)/False/No/Off ]] and a [[ Visual/OutPut/(1)/True/No/On ]]
