Selling a program

How could I sell a program and its rights of sale to a corporation? Is this possible? How good does my program have to be? What corporations would buy these rights?

If its made in vb then most people dont want to buy it because vb relys on other files and C++ you make your own files . But most all companys will buy your program if its an good ider and good coding .
