Need Help with Internet Connection Sharing
ok, I need some help with this. I will first state that I don't intend to use this for malicious or abusive purposes etc. We have about 5 computers where I work. All are running WinXP and are networked together. In the server room they are running a PC with Win 2000 server with 3 Compaq towers (servers I guess). All the network connections are connected through ethernet, and all printers are shared, etc. Here's the problem. They took the internet connection away from the downstairs computer, but is still works on all the others. My project is to get this connection back! I've already checked all connections and everthing is plugged in such as the ethernet connections up at the hub. And the hub/router is connected to the DSL modem. So what I'm thinking is that they have disabled the Internet Connection Sharing with that one computer on the network. So my question is where can I go in Win 2000 Server on the main computer to share the connection with that computer again? I'm unfamiliar with Win 2000 server. There's no problem accessing things because they have nothing PW protected. Anyway I work at a Community Center and all we really do there is listen to music and check out basketballs, etc. We need the internet connection downstairs so we can do homework assignments without having to rotate around every hour or so. Thanks for any suggestions.
