Server Timeout :'(

The server is running Apache 2.0.36, MySQL 3.23.49-nt, PHP 4.2, on an ADSL connection using DNS2Go. Sometimes, when I try to use certain pages, like pages with large images or phpMyAdmin pages, the server times out and keeps refreshing the page when its partly loaded....infinitely, it never stops. It just keeps refreshing and refreshing.

Any idea why this might be happening. I've tried everything to correct this problem, but nothing seems to work.
