How many mb's will I download if I play Aoe online?

what type a game is Aoe.. i.e. 3d, 2d or what? give a good description and i could give u a fair estimate

2D strat, 8 players max, 200 pop each player

depends whether they took out the cutscenes and/or single pplayer and so on, depends on the hack version

I would guess that most of the time AOE would be using your connection to it's maximum. (Unless it's a T1 or something). So you should be able to work out the MB downloaded.

One way you could test it is to restart your comp, then immidiatly start a AOE game. Play for say half an hour, then look at your total downloaded bytes afterwards.

For something like aoe2 i would estimate at about 5k /sec. It's hard to say but for most stratergy games it's something like that, unless of course Microsoft decided to botch up the netcode ;)
