MP3 question

can anyone tell me if its possible and if yes how to get the length of an mp3? i have an algorith for geting the bitrate and then getting file size and dividing one by the other...but its not too acurate..and i hope theres a way without using another control...plz help

Well you have to subtract the MP3's header and trailer info from the total size of the file.
