    You may also bear in mind that you might need to add it into the HKEY_CURRENT_USER instead of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE so that it only runs if the users who installs your app is logged in the machine.

    Depending on your OS, the methods vary.

    There's of course the Startup(all), registry(all), services(NT), win.ini(all, i think).
