XP start menu, frequently-used items RESOLVED
My applications written in VB6 do not seem to appear in the XP Start menu for recently/frequently-used programs.
Is this supposed to happen automatically, or is this functionality I need to write-in to the app? As usual there is no MS documentation (or at least I could not find any).

Resolved!
Found it!
My app is called Help Desk. Microsoft apparently decided anything with Help in the name should not go in the frequently-used menu.
More info here.

List of blocked names is in the registry, so the install program or app can edit it. (Seems you need to reboot after editing it for it to take effect.)

just be careful if this is a distributed app.. because people don't tend to like when you mess with their registry on them..
