First you have to select bitmaps for floor and roof tiles, then apply. Now before painting the tiles you have to select and add them to the list.. that's all, basically.

The editor is used for my in-chat-rpg btw.

the raised area where the wood is going up, it seems

i look at it and it looks really screwed up
either put a big shadow along the sides of it, or make the grass that's ontop of it either lighter or darker, and it will make it look separate from the ground level

I agree, nice graphics. As for the wooden bridge, something does need to be done. Maybe alpha blend a shadow under it or something. My solution for it is below. I'm not making fun, just a little constructive criticism that every artist should have and understand. Good job on the water BTW, that isn't easy to do.

Impressive how easily the eye is fooled. The simple shadow added in the JPEG really changes the way I interpret the image.

uh, oh, well, there is no explanation for this bridge This shadow would explain how it *could* work, but in fact I just put some tiles there to test 'em out I should have made another platform to get a flat bridge but I was too lazy ^^
