Hi,

I am hoping someome out there can help - I am trying to reference a COM component from VB.net(ASP.net) when I try the add the reference I get this message:

A reference to 'ABFConduit' could not be added. Converting the type library to a .NET assembly failed. Error Loading Type Library/DLL failed

ABFConuit is the name of my COM DLL, I have tried unregistering then deleting it, then running regclean - and then reresgetering it. and it still does not work ??? !!

The strange thing is a few weeks ago - this did work. The DLL was changed, but now I can not get it to work with .net (it works fine with VB 6) I have also delete the old .DLL in the BIN file created from when it did work - no good?? Also I have also tried opening a new project - no good?? Then I tried using the manual utitliy Tlbimp.exe but Still no good ( same error by the way)
