    PC locks up...

    Specs: VIA mb, Athlon 700, 512mb, 20gb, Geforce2 mx400, sblive

    I can't figure out why but anytime I try to run anything in 3D my system totally freezes and I have to hard reboot. All other apps run great, 3D freezes. I have directx8.1b installed, the latest via and nvidia drivers and everything else. What could cause this?! Any help is appreciated!

    Oh btw... running Win2k Pro...

    Have you reinstalled DirectX 8.1 and your video card drivers?
