    Make ActiveX Documents talk to parent VB6 app

    Hello,

    I have an app with a web browser control to display ActiveX Documents. I need the AXDoc to be able to pass stuff back and forth from the AXDocs to the parent app.

    The reason we need to do it this way is because we want to be able to connect from the web (administrative tasks) and have it distributable as a .exe because this app must run in a prison where a connection to the "internet" is not allowed.

    Why not just bundle the whole application up as a standalone .Exe and distrbute on CD, thereby bypassing any need for the Web?
