    C++ is the language to use when you want to make games. Especually 3D Games!
    When programming 3D Games you can use objects from 3d max, caligari truespace etc.

    I can recommend a good book on the subject: 3D Game programming with C++ - ISBN: 1-576610-400-1

    If you want to start with 2D programming(which I think you should, since its the base for 3D) take a look at Windows Games programming for Dummies - ISBN 0-7645-0337-5

    Both books are strong choices!
    They both use DirectX.

    Good luck!

    Or you can simply use VB, yes you should start with 2D, there are tons of links troughout the forum (hint: use the Search function )
    Code:
    Temp = Me.GetIQ()
    'Error 9: Overflow
    'DON'T PANIC! :eek:
