I don't care if all my posts are converted to 'Kristopher' or not. I just want all the new ones to be that. And to retain my post count. That'd be nice.

I also wanted to change my user name but asking someone to do it for you seems very strange and unprofessional :D Why don't they just add a function to do it? It can't be that hard.

As far as i know name changes are not allowed unless you open a new account. I wanted to change my username awhile ago and the message i recieved from John was that it was not allowed.

It's possible with vBulletin since it stores you by user ID not name...he refused because then he'd have to do it for everyone and that's not really the point.

He might make exceptions for people who've had things messed up because of the lossage on the DB...

Maybe along with "Custom User Status", the could make a hack for "Changable User Name" to go along with it? :D

Karl changed Jungle boy's up there on request, I was hoping he'd do the same but he hasn't even read my PM yet and I sent it over a week ago

Don't forget John isn't the big boss man anymore, it only seems to be us requesting it anyway. If everybody started requesting it then he'd get pissed off

Moderators cannot change those sort details for a user.
An administrator would have to do it.
